0309 GET ON YOUR BIKE!
Galway City Council are piloting new sheltered bicycle stands with a view to developing the initiative further in the city. We designed these display posters as part of the campaign to encourage people to change the way they travel to work or education. Bums on seats, indeed.

0209 MEDTRONIC - DEVELOPING THEIR GLOBAL BRAND
Over the past year Medtronic has been strengthening its' global brand identity through a review and development of communication channels. A&D have been supporting this programme through our work with Medtronic in Ireland, most recently in the design of advertising and literature. Medtronic is the world's leading medical technology company and has been operating in Galway for 10 years.

0109 DAY OF THE DESMIDS
This book, designed by A&D for the Martin Ryan Institute at NUI Galway, got a mention here a few months back but we just our copy from the printers in Germany and we had to share it with you all! (Yes, we've gotten very fond of desmids, those crazy algae). The 208 pp hardback is beautifully printed and bound, and the design makes light work of the scholarly depth of detail, helped in no small way by the gorgeous Archer tyepface from two of our current favourite typographers, Hoefler and Frere-Jones.

1208 NEW VISUAL IDENTITY FOR COPE GALWAY
Having won the contract to update the communication materials for COPE Galway, we've been busy redesigning their logo, website and literature, along with signage, vehicles, tee-shirts and posters. (It's been a little hectic). COPE Galway provide vital services to people experiencing homlessness and domestic violence, they provide support services for the elderly and they operate the local community catering service. 1108 RECYCLED DOCUMENT WALLETS FOR THE IRISH FILM BORD
A&D sourced these quite tasty document wallets for Bord Scannáin na hÉireann / The Irish Film Board. Made from recycled plastics, they take screen printing very nicely, and will be used to distribute literature at film festivals worldwide.
